he wifi connection dropping issues on Linksys Velop system might be due to various unknown technical glitches which could be resolved by following ways in order and considering resetting as the last option:

Restart your Linksys Velop system network:
Restarting your Linksys velop system is possible either through Linksys app or linksyssmartwifi.com web interface.

Restarting via Linksys app steps:

Ensure that your mobile device is connected to Linksys Velop system’s wifi .
Launch the Linksys app on your smart phone device.
Log into the Linksys cloud account by entering the email address and password.
As the Linksys Velop dashboard appears, tap on the menu icon on top left of the dashboard screen.
Go to Network administration and select it and tap on Restart Velop option.
The Linksys Velop system would get restarted.

Try to change your router's channel to 1 or 11 (the default channel is 6) as these are considered non-overlapping channels. After changing channels, restart the Wi-Fi devices. To learn how to change the router's channel using the classic web-based setup, click here. For Linksys Smart Wi-Fi users.
